Camp Whip Poor Will

One of the largest camps, Camp Whip Poor Will located on the south eastern border of Warren County, Ohio near the Little Miami River consists of 505 acres of land ranging from grassy meadows to steep ravines.  After a wet season, some of the ravines give way to small creeks that make excellent spots for wading and fossil hunting. In addition, troops can explore the property, learning about trees, wildflowers, natural habitats of animals or go hiking.

This camp has a variety of overnight facility units including platform tents, tree house structures, cabins or dormitory-style buildings. Open grassy areas make it possible to take part in sports activities, games, archery or stargazing on a clear night. The Four Winds Lake allows girls the opportunity to canoe, fish or experience pond studies.
